Spring 2010

I love this time of the year, it is not to hot not to cold and I can work out side.
It is nice to have spare time to work on projects that have been on the back burner for a long time. I was able to finish my high school scrapbook, It only took 5 years. Looking back at all our friends and me and Jake's dance pictures brings make memories. I can't believe how young we look. We were only 14 and 15 when we started seeing each other; puppy love stuff nothing big. It is nice to have a book with all of our accomplishments and memories in it from our childhood. I am thankful that Jake and I have been together all this time so the album is truly ours and not just mine.

Our four year wedding anniversary is this month. Time flies by so fast when you are in love. Last year at this time, I was 20 weeks pregnant with Wyatt and we where on our way to the Doctor to see if we were going to have a boy or a girl. I taught at the time it was the perfect anniversary gift to see our little man healthy on the "Big Screen", but now the prefect gift is holding him when Jake is holding me. I love that feeling. We are going to go camping the week following the 24th for 7 days to get a way. Jake and I haven't been "away" in a very long time. Needles to say we are looking forward to it. My folks are coming with us so I will have help with Wyatt.

Wyatt is almost 7 months old and has 4 teeth and counting. He is all but crawling. he can push himself up on to his knees and scoot across the floor. With every day comes a new adventure with our little man. He has bumped his head a couple times and trays to get into things he shouldn't. I worry about him when I leave the room, even for a second. Our house is small so it should be easy to baby proof. Yesterday was nice enough that he laid on a blanket in the yard while his Daddy and I work in the yard.

We finally have flower beds in front of our house. My rose bushes look a lot better now that are cleaned out. We still have alot to before summer but some how some way, we will get it done.

Blogger Catch Up

Well so much for keeping up with our blog. The Internet was down for a month so Jake decided for us to sign up with Big Dog High Speed Internet and now I can get things done faster on-line. It is a good thing too because we don't have TV anymore and Glee season 2 will be starting up on the 13th!!! I love that show, those guys can sign their butts off.
The family is doing great. Wyatt is now 20 weeks old and can roll from back to belly and sometimes "when he wants too" role belly to back. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. I finally had to but clothes away that he'd out grown. That was a sad day. I want it to warm up so we can go for walks around the Green Belt and do other fun things. The only bad thing about it warming up is all the yard work that needs to be done, mostly the backyard. The yard was neglected last year due to us never being home because of car shows,so this year we have our work cut out for us.
Speaking of car shows, the 2nd Annul Early Iron Festival is underway. So far we have half of the rewards done, some raffles bought, and started making the posters advertising the event. My cricut has come in handy with all the balloons. Last year my grandma cut them all out by hand, poor thing. I think we are starting to sell sponsorships now too. I promise, now that we have reliable Internet, I'll post more often.

Blessed

Wyatt was blessed on the 10th and it was a wonderful experience. I was so proud of my little boy and honored to be his mother. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and be apart of this special event. Wyatt is so lucky as am I, to have great friends and family. Every night I get to kiss Wyatt and tell him "sweet dreams" and in the morning, I get to see him face the dawn with a smile. I love being a mom and being able to stay home with him. He continues to grow and is currently 11 lbs 6 ozs and 22.5 inches at 8 weeks old. I can't believe how much he has changed over the past month. He is like an open book which I can't put down.

What Happened?

Well, today Wyatt is one month old and I can't believe it. He has already grown so much sense he was born. We still are not 100% sure what color his eyes or hair are going to be. His eyes have a hint of blue and brown in them and his hair is a gold color so only time can tell. I love staying home with him. I do admit that some days are easier then others.
This past Monday, I went to my work and told them that I will not be returning after my medical leave. Some of my co-workers where happy for me and others, could have cared less. All I can say is "So Long Suckers!". I will miss the residents and I told that I'll come and visit them as often as I can. This past month has flipped our lives completely around and I wouldn't change it back even if I could.

Christmas Came Early This Year.

On Wed. November 18. 2009 at 1:21pm, Wyatt William was born. He was 7lbs 10ozs and 20 inches long. He is the best Christmas present we could have ever asked for. Wyatt is healthy and growing strong. Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of a life time. Thank you also to our friends and family for all your support and generosity. We love you all.

Thank you

Years turned into months, months into weeks, and now the weeks have become days before the missing part of the puzzle is in place. This has been a long journey to get to where we are now, but looking back throught the tears, we now can say that it was worth it. Soon we'll be holding our baby boy and all will be right with the world. I understand that stressful times are ahead of us but knowing that we are loved by both our friends and our family brings warmth to my heart. There is always some one there when we need them. Thank you to all of our love-ones, we couldn't have done it without you!

Counting Down the Days.

We only have 37 days left until our due date and I feel that we still are not "ready". But we are as ready as we can be "I think". Today Chelsey, and I had a class over at Mountain View Hospital that went over what to expect before, during, and after the baby is born. Boy, the movie they showed us left nothing out! We did learn some new stuff and now we are a little more prepared but we still have big steps ahead of us. As well as I know Chelsey, she will always have her worries no matter what and I guess so will I. I pray the baby gets here safely and will be strong and healthy, also that Chelsey has no complications. On a less serious note, I am now a kick butt Pinochle Player!
Chelsey has been teaching me how to play and we've had a couple of friends over at times and I am pretty good for a rookie. I can't want to go and visit my Grandma and Grandpa Bielby, they won't know what hit them. Last time they tried to get me to play, I was clueless but now, I feel like I can take them on.
I'll try to post more often, Chelsey tells me all the time that this is our blog and not just hers. Take care everybody! -Jake
