Spring 2010

I love this time of the year, it is not to hot not to cold and I can work out side.
It is nice to have spare time to work on projects that have been on the back burner for a long time. I was able to finish my high school scrapbook, It only took 5 years. Looking back at all our friends and me and Jake's dance pictures brings make memories. I can't believe how young we look. We were only 14 and 15 when we started seeing each other; puppy love stuff nothing big. It is nice to have a book with all of our accomplishments and memories in it from our childhood. I am thankful that Jake and I have been together all this time so the album is truly ours and not just mine.

Our four year wedding anniversary is this month. Time flies by so fast when you are in love. Last year at this time, I was 20 weeks pregnant with Wyatt and we where on our way to the Doctor to see if we were going to have a boy or a girl. I taught at the time it was the perfect anniversary gift to see our little man healthy on the "Big Screen", but now the prefect gift is holding him when Jake is holding me. I love that feeling. We are going to go camping the week following the 24th for 7 days to get a way. Jake and I haven't been "away" in a very long time. Needles to say we are looking forward to it. My folks are coming with us so I will have help with Wyatt.

Wyatt is almost 7 months old and has 4 teeth and counting. He is all but crawling. he can push himself up on to his knees and scoot across the floor. With every day comes a new adventure with our little man. He has bumped his head a couple times and trays to get into things he shouldn't. I worry about him when I leave the room, even for a second. Our house is small so it should be easy to baby proof. Yesterday was nice enough that he laid on a blanket in the yard while his Daddy and I work in the yard.

We finally have flower beds in front of our house. My rose bushes look a lot better now that are cleaned out. We still have alot to before summer but some how some way, we will get it done.

Blogger Catch Up

Well so much for keeping up with our blog. The Internet was down for a month so Jake decided for us to sign up with Big Dog High Speed Internet and now I can get things done faster on-line. It is a good thing too because we don't have TV anymore and Glee season 2 will be starting up on the 13th!!! I love that show, those guys can sign their butts off.
The family is doing great. Wyatt is now 20 weeks old and can roll from back to belly and sometimes "when he wants too" role belly to back. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. I finally had to but clothes away that he'd out grown. That was a sad day. I want it to warm up so we can go for walks around the Green Belt and do other fun things. The only bad thing about it warming up is all the yard work that needs to be done, mostly the backyard. The yard was neglected last year due to us never being home because of car shows,so this year we have our work cut out for us.
Speaking of car shows, the 2nd Annul Early Iron Festival is underway. So far we have half of the rewards done, some raffles bought, and started making the posters advertising the event. My cricut has come in handy with all the balloons. Last year my grandma cut them all out by hand, poor thing. I think we are starting to sell sponsorships now too. I promise, now that we have reliable Internet, I'll post more often.

Blessed

Wyatt was blessed on the 10th and it was a wonderful experience. I was so proud of my little boy and honored to be his mother. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and be apart of this special event. Wyatt is so lucky as am I, to have great friends and family. Every night I get to kiss Wyatt and tell him "sweet dreams" and in the morning, I get to see him face the dawn with a smile. I love being a mom and being able to stay home with him. He continues to grow and is currently 11 lbs 6 ozs and 22.5 inches at 8 weeks old. I can't believe how much he has changed over the past month. He is like an open book which I can't put down.

What Happened?

Well, today Wyatt is one month old and I can't believe it. He has already grown so much sense he was born. We still are not 100% sure what color his eyes or hair are going to be. His eyes have a hint of blue and brown in them and his hair is a gold color so only time can tell. I love staying home with him. I do admit that some days are easier then others.
This past Monday, I went to my work and told them that I will not be returning after my medical leave. Some of my co-workers where happy for me and others, could have cared less. All I can say is "So Long Suckers!". I will miss the residents and I told that I'll come and visit them as often as I can. This past month has flipped our lives completely around and I wouldn't change it back even if I could.

Christmas Came Early This Year.

On Wed. November 18. 2009 at 1:21pm, Wyatt William was born. He was 7lbs 10ozs and 20 inches long. He is the best Christmas present we could have ever asked for. Wyatt is healthy and growing strong. Thank you Heavenly Father for the gift of a life time. Thank you also to our friends and family for all your support and generosity. We love you all.

Thank you

Years turned into months, months into weeks, and now the weeks have become days before the missing part of the puzzle is in place. This has been a long journey to get to where we are now, but looking back throught the tears, we now can say that it was worth it. Soon we'll be holding our baby boy and all will be right with the world. I understand that stressful times are ahead of us but knowing that we are loved by both our friends and our family brings warmth to my heart. There is always some one there when we need them. Thank you to all of our love-ones, we couldn't have done it without you!

Counting Down the Days.

We only have 37 days left until our due date and I feel that we still are not "ready". But we are as ready as we can be "I think". Today Chelsey, and I had a class over at Mountain View Hospital that went over what to expect before, during, and after the baby is born. Boy, the movie they showed us left nothing out! We did learn some new stuff and now we are a little more prepared but we still have big steps ahead of us. As well as I know Chelsey, she will always have her worries no matter what and I guess so will I. I pray the baby gets here safely and will be strong and healthy, also that Chelsey has no complications. On a less serious note, I am now a kick butt Pinochle Player!
Chelsey has been teaching me how to play and we've had a couple of friends over at times and I am pretty good for a rookie. I can't want to go and visit my Grandma and Grandpa Bielby, they won't know what hit them. Last time they tried to get me to play, I was clueless but now, I feel like I can take them on.
I'll try to post more often, Chelsey tells me all the time that this is our blog and not just hers. Take care everybody! -Jake

Well, what can I say?

The month is half way over and we have less than 8 weeks before my due date. The summer went by so fast, and here I am putting up my fall decor in my house. This should make my friend Maren happy, she loves the Fall season.I love the colors and the fact it isn't so hot but I don't like what fallows. Slick Roads!!!
We took Sadie out to my parents house on Sunday to introduce her to their new puppy, Oscar. Lets just say Oscar was a little chicken and my little Sadie was the dog of the hour! Once Oscar warmed up to Sadie, he would just pick on her and she would take it, never barked or nothing. I hope that when the baby gets here, she will be just as good.
The baby shower went well. I had a lot of friends and family show up and they got the baby some really nice things; the usual clothes, diapers, wipes, baby shampoo, and other things. I am very thankful for the items and I know I will use them all.
Jake went fishing that day and caught 100 crawdads (little lobsters) in two hours. He had a lot of fun. He just had his birthday not to long ago and now my hubby is 24 years old. He still is my teddy bear even after all this time and I still love him more each and every day.

Happy Birthday Jake Sept. 7th 1985

Monday September 7th is Jake's birthday and he will be 24 years old. I love giving him a hard time knowing that he will always be older than me. I can't believe he was only 15 when we started dating, that was almost ten years a go! I guess time flies by when you are having the time of your life with the man you love. I am so lucky to have a guy like Jake for a husband and as my best friend. I know there is no way I could live without him by my side. Thank you Jake for being the father of our son and I look forward to celebrating many of your birthdays with you to come. I love you sweetheart!

Busy Days

Well summer is almost over and fall is around the bend and I feel like summer should just be starting. There is just so much that has to happen before the baby comes or at least I feel that way and I only have 11 weeks left. We go in for an other ultra-sound on the 10th to check up on the little guy. September is a busy month. There's Labor day, Jake's B-Day, doctor visits, baby shower, friends' B-days, Mom's B-day and my parents anniversary. I also have WIC appointment on the 16th to see if we qualify for assistance because of my hours getting cut at work.

I hope I can get through this with my head still on my shoulders.

Car Show High Lights and Other News

Well the "Early Iron Festival 2009" is over and all I can say is, "I'm beat!" We made close to $6,000 dollars for the Jefferson County QRU. We had a lot of foot traffic but my family wishes we had more cars/entry's show up. I sold 3 diaper cakes so that made me happy. Here sometime this week, I'll post the rest on Craig list to see if they'll sell too.
I had a Doctor visit on Tuesday and Dr.Isbell said everything is right where it needs to be. He wants to do an other ultrasound on the 10th, after that I go in every 2 weeks. I need to get my mailing list done so I can get my invites out for the baby shower. My friend Lori wants to have it on the 12th (I think).
In other news, my little black truck will be no more, it's getting 'Cash for Clunked'. My brother is using it to get a new car and we'll be getting his 2000 Grand AM GT. The car will last us a lot longer than that black truck will. It has been on it's last leg for along time! It's kinda sad to see my black truck go, I've had it sense high school. I have good memories in that truck. Jake won't miss it, he hated driving it.

Car Show, Diaper Cakes, and a lot of STRESS!

Well the Rigby Early Iron Festival is a week away and lets just say I'll be glad when it is over. My family has but in dozens of man hours into this thing and I hope it all pays off. For all of you reading this, on Aug. 15th if you are not doing anything you should head to the Jefferson County Fair Grounds for a good time. Trust me, you'll have a blast with the car show, the food, games craft/ swap meet vendors and more.
I have made nine diaper cakes to sell in the craft fair. I think they turn out really cute but you will have to be the judge. I'll post photos of them later. I am considering this a test. If they sell good, I post them on the Internet and sell them as I make them or do custom orders. A lot of stress has caused me to pull out some of my hairs.
Not only the car show and the diaper cakes, but finding things for the baby's room. Did you know that all the nice baby bedding is over $100?! I finally ask my good friend Judy Bloom, (Hi Judy!) to make the crib set. We went to Joanne's and found material that matches blankets my mom has already bought me. It is going to be really cute. I am so grateful to have such wonderful friends!

Sorry once again.

I am a terrible blogger! I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a long time. Well, let's start this post off with a happy note: We are having a boy! We couldn't be happier. The gender of the baby wasn't important for me and Jake, all that is important is that the baby is healthy. At my last check up the doctor said every thing looks great and I go in again tomorrow. I am now 23 weeks a long and Jake can now feel the baby kick. He was speechless after the first time he felt it. Now, I guess the fun starts, planning the baby's room, the baby shower, buying clothes, ext. The hard part will be finding time to do all that with the big car show my family is doing coming up. A lot of work and man hours have gone into this thing and I hope it will be a big success. Jake and I will try to keep up our blog more often and keep you all up dated. See ya!

Yeah! The Internet is fixed!

I am so happy that I finally get to up date our blog!!! It has been so long and I know there are those of you out there who have been getting sick of my last post. Well just to give you an up date; the baby is doing fine, we get to find out what we are having in a few days. Jake and I can hardly wait! We have been keeping busy with some projects around the house and helping Dad get ready for the car show in Aug. . Wednesday, the 24th is our 3 year wedding anniversary and we don't have any plans yet other then Doctors' appointments. Well sorry this post is short but it is getting let, love you all.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is just around the corner and I thought it would be a good idea to reflect on some of those we have lost over the years. This past July we lost my Grandma Fern. She was the sweetest thing next to strawberry short cake! I loved going to her house after school and playing cards and having root beer floats (even when I didn't want one). It was hard for me when she passed away, but I know that it is what she wanted in the end; see my Grandpa Frank passed away in Sept. of 97, that's along time to be without your sweetheart.
Jake also lost a grandma this past year in Dec., Grandma Welker. She was diagnosed with cancer in Dec. of 07 but she hung on for another year. Jake tells me all the time how much he misses her home made soups and bread! Grandpa Welker seems to be doing OK, keeping busy.
Losing loved ones is hard enough when you know that the end is coming, but losing one without any kind of notice is even harder. I would have to say the worst for me was when I lost my Grandpa Gary; my Mom's dad, in Dec. of 2002. To this day I still can hear his laugh and his amazing stories. He was one of the greatest men I've never known and I miss him dearly. We all know that there will come a time when we'll have to part with our grandparents and one day our parents, but to lose a brother or a sister is never something you think about.
Jake lost his little brother William Scott way before I know him. Jake was in the 3rd grade and Will was around 5 years old. I don't want to go into detail on how we lost Will, I just know that Jake thinks of him often and wonders "Who he'd be today?" Life can deal us a hard hand, full of disappointments and trials, but in the end we get to say that "We Lived!"

Life comes and life goes
somebody dies and someone is born
life is precious
life is love
life is everything we get from above

We're all going to say
life is good and sometimes bad
but the life is all we had

Without her
we'll never know love
kindness, mercy, passion
all this feelings that makes us burn

Oh Lord, I say
everyday thanks for giving me the life
to live, to cry, to smile
and to die

Cause all this is life......

I would like to close by thanking the men and women who serve our country, for all that they do to keep us save and free. We'll always be in debt to them and to those who lost their lives. At the end of the day, before I put my head on my pillow, I thank the Lord above that I am an American, God Bless The USA!

The Latest Baby News!

Well today Jake and I went to Dr. Isbell for our monthly checkup. Compared to my past year of check ups, this one was a breeze! The longest part of the appointment was waiting to go in the back room. The heart beat sounded great. This was our first time being able to hear the heart beat. Jake was really happy and I was speechless. I go back again in four weeks for the same kind of check up. It won't be long now before we finally get our baby. We've been waiting for this for so long!

Oh, Morning Sickness

First off let me tell you all how sorry I am for not posting in a long time. I haven't been feeling well lately and on the days I feel fine, Jake and I are BUSY! All the spring cleaning, car shows, keeping up with friends, ext. can take up a lot of time. I guess I shouldn't complain to much about the morning sickness, I don't think it has been that bad. Three days I'm sick then the next two, I am fine. My mom keeps telling me how sick she was and how lucky I am not to be camped out by the toilet day and night. The only thing I don't like is that I always seem to get sick at work. Working in a nursing home, there are a lot of BAD SMELLS and sometimes I have to run to the ladies room. I haven't caused any hit and runs yet. Jake is loving the weather and so am I. Sadie can stay outside during the day and run around all she wants. Let's just say she has been sleeping really good at night. I hope this is just the beginning of this wonderful sunshine!

Guess What?!

Hello to everyone out there, Jake here. This is my first post and maybe the most important post of my life. Today Chelsey had a doctor's appointment and it was made known that we are going to have a baby! We first found out three weeks ago that we were pregnant when Chelsey peed on a stick. On Sunday, she will be eight weeks along. We didn't waist any time before telling the grandparents to be about the news due to the bad luck we had this past year (don't ask). My folks were told at the horse races here in town and we told Chelsey's mom and dad the next morning. But today when we got to see the baby on the "big screen" it made it that much better. We have had the names picked for along time. If it is a boy, Wyatt William and if it is a girl, Shelby Rea. Both names have family meaning behind them. The sex of the baby don't matter to me as long as it is healthy and has ten toes and ten fingers. This blogging thing is kind-da fun, I'll have to post more things latter. See ya.

How does it look?

Well it has only been a month since I last posted but just look how cute our blog is getting. I could not have done it without Maren! I am so thankful to have her as a friend and I would be lost without her. Now that I have a better idea on how to "blog" maybe I can get up to date on things. Thanks again Maren!

Hello Everyone!

Greetings from the Bielby Bunch! AKA Jake, Chelsey and Sadie (Sadie is our dog) :) . My good pal Maren Henderson has a blog and I feel in love with it. Hopefully mine will be as cool as her's one day.
